We are pleased to announce that following the successful NAMTEC launch event in July 2011, Asmet has signed up to become a full member of the new NAMTEC Manufacturing Forum.
Andrew Parker, Asmet's Operations Manager explained "Asmet has grown our specialist product range significantly over the last 10 years and we have a proven track record of technical excellence for the production of high quality castings."
Being part of NAMTEC will help Asmet keep informed of the latest news and developments in the industry and collectively we can help give the UK cast metals sector a voice on major issues which affect us all.
Andrew added "In particular, we see exciting opportunities for large wind power castings to be produced in the UK, and are keen to work in close partnership with foundries and major wind turbine manufacturers to help make this happen."
