ICME Awards - Saturday 8th October 2011

Asmet is pleased to be attending and joint sponsoring the Institute of Cast Metals Engineers (ICME) Awards Luncheon on Saturday 8th October 2011 at the National Brewery Centre in Burton upon Trent.

The awards will honour people who have worked tirelessly for the benefit of the industry, especially those closely involved with ICME.

Asmet has supported ICME events over many years and Don Tittensor, Asmet's Technical Manager serves on ICME's technical board.

Andrew Parker, Asmet's Operations Manager said "ICME brings together people from all sectors and levels of the cast metals industry, providing an excellent source of information and support for education, training and industry events. We are very pleased to help support these annual awards that acknowledge those who have contributed so much to our industry."

11.00 hrs Guided Tour
13.00 hrs 3 Course Luncheon with a bottle of beer
14.30 hrs Awards Ceremony
15.30 hrs Guided Tour

Tickets are £32.50 per person.

As an added bonus, guests can tour the museum and learn about the history of brewing from ancient times. The newly completed William Worthington''s microbrewery lets you see the brewing process just it was 150 years ago with Burton well water, English malted barley and hops.
