London to Paris Cycle Ride After a Busy GIFA

What better way to relax after a busy GIFA?!

Andrew Parker, Operations Manager at Asmet, recently completed a 300 mile cycle ride from London to Paris with a group of friends in aid of a number of cancer and children charities, including Andrew's chosen charity, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice in South Yorkshire.

After a very busy June with the Asmet launch and GIFA, Andrew had very limited training time so he didn't break any speed records, but is very pleased to have helped raise over £ 20,000, which included all the proceeds from the sold out Sunshine Ball at the Cutlers' Hall in Sheffield on 25th June.

Asmet kindly sponsored shirts for the event along with Investec, and the Group are pictured below at Lords Cricket Ground before the ride. Andrew is the only one with a mountain bike!
