We produce various grades of Magnesium Ferro Silicon for all types of nodularisation processes, including flo-through, tundish, sandwich, pour-over, inmould and in wire form. Our precisely controlled chemistry and size grading ensures the optimum recovery of Magnesium and inhibited reactivity.
Our specialised Silicon inoculants are produced with precise specifications of the inoculating elements required to ensure optimisation of as-cast properties for all Cast Iron processes. Products are available for inmould, late stream and ladle additions as well as in wire form.
Metal Cleanliness
Fluxing Agents
Our fluxing agents offer a cost effective way of cleansing iron by reducing the surface tension of the treated metal and stimulating the coagulation of foreign particles and reaction products. Benefits of post furnace treatment include reduced slag related defects and prolonged ladle life.
We produce Filtrex extruded, Filtron round hole, and Foamex foam filters that offer a simple and effective method of removing slag, dross and non-metallic inclusions to promote smooth metal flow.
The filters can be easily incorporated into existing gating systems with minimal mould modification.
We supply inmould inoculants for both Grey and Ductile Iron castings which are inserted into the mould to offer a highly effective, efficient and controlled method of late inoculation.
The technique of introducing controlled amounts of inoculant in the gating system also provides a cost effective and clean treatment.
We supply specialised Aluminium Master Alloys including Grain Refiners, Modifiers and Alloying Tablets.
