Barcast 90

Application & Effect:

Barcast 90 is used as a potent de-oxidising pre-conditioner for Ductile Iron production.

The efficiency of the treatment process is improved, leading to a reduction in alloy consumption and slag generation.

This type of pre-conditioner is usually added to the furnace, forming a dry powdery slag, which can easily be removed from the melt.

1 x 6 mm

Packaging:

Drums, Bulk Bags, Paper Bags.

Al Ba Ca Si
1.2 - 1.7% 9 - 11% 1.2 - 17% 60 - 75%
