Compacted Graphite Alloy

As the emphasis moves towards stronger, lighter materials, Compacted Graphite Cast Iron is increasingly being recommended by casting design engineers.

Compacted Graphite Alloy is used in the production of Cast Irons with Compacted or Vermicular Graphite. The Titanium content suppresses the nodularising properties of Magnesium, permitting the stable growth of Compacted Graphite. To ensure efficient production of this material, close metallurgical control is required with the correct selection of process materials.
