Application & Effect:

Greycast is a solid cast mould inoculation insert for Grey Iron Castings which can be located in the mould to offer a highly effective, efficient and controlled method of late inoculation.

The technique of introducing controlled amounts of inoculant in the gating system also provides a cost effective and clean treatment. Other benefits include:

  • Increased cell count
  • Reduced chill tendency
  • Optimal Microstructures
  • Enhanced feeding characteristics
  • No fading of the inoculation effect

Sizes:

Cylindrical Sizes: 15g, 20g, 40g, 60g, 80g, 110g, 150g, 200g.
Block Sizes: 300g, 500g, 800g, 2,000g, 5,000g, 10,000g, 15,000g, 30,000g, 50,000g.

Packaging:

Boxes or drums.

0.5 - 2.0% 0.1 - 2.0% Balance 3 - 4.5% 70 - 78%
