Description:
Magnesium Cored Wire treatment offers a clean, accurate and cost effective method of producing ductile and vermicular irons.
Magnesium Wire can be utilised to nodularise cupola melted iron with a one shot treatment of desulphurisation and graphite modification.
Powder fills are contained within a steel sheath and the coil is introduced into the metal at a rate dependent on temperature, head height, rate of dissolution and sheath dimensions.
Asmet offer a comprehensive service to foundries converting to cored wire treatment incorporating: –

- Choice of wire fill composition and diameter
